D. Evan van Hook

Evan is Honeywell’s former Chief Sustainability Officer, leading Health, Safety, Environment, Product Stewardship & Sustainability for the Company since 2004. In 2012 he was awarded Honeywell’s Senior Leadership Award. He is a graduate of Yale Law School, and is both a former partner at the law firm Sidley & Austin and Assistant Commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection. He is on the Boards of  NTESS and the Housatonic Valley Association. He has taught International Environmental Law at Columbia Law School and lectured at the United Nations ITR, and was a credentialed observer at UN FCCC COP 23 and COP 24. He has authored numerous articles on environmental topics, and is the co-author of International Environmental Law: A Case Study Analysis (Routledge 2019).

Evan is an industry leader in corporate sustainability and governance, and he is routinely featured on the national media.
