David Chauncey

David Chauncey leads the Insights team at Viridi. He has over 35 years of experience developing advanced communications systems, IoT, and artificial intelligence technologies for commercial and military applications. Most recently he was the head of R&D for Council Rock where he spearheaded the development of AI algorithms to optimize the capture and use of energy within a residence. Prior to that, David was the Founder and CEO of Vnomics where he developed AI algorithms to optimize the efficiency of heavy-duty commercial vehicles. He holds more than twenty patents in the areas of data communications, vehicle performance optimization, and artificial intelligence. David holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology and an MBA from the Simon Business School at the University of Rochester.
